Ministry Outreach
Do You Want To Make A Difference In The Lives Of Others?
We are looking for volunteers who can help us with our mission. Our church is dedicated to serving those in need and we would love your help! You will be able to make a real impact on someone’s life by lending them an extra hand.
Charleston Area Justice Ministry
Saint Mark’s made its covenant with the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM) in 2014 and has been active ever since. https://charlestonareajusticeministry.org

CAJM is an affiliate of DART, a faith-based organization dedicated to bringing about justice in 28 communities throughout 9 states. https://thedartcenter.org
In 2021, CAJM was named the number 1 DART affiliate.

On October 25, 2021, the membership voted to concentrate this year on "Care for Our Creation," which includes environmental racism, food deserts, flooding, etc. as our major concerns.
Other ongoing issues (police reform, education, affordable housing, transportation, and affordable medical care) will continue to receive the attention of the organization.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
Saint Mark’s will once again be hosting brunch for the families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House during their children’s medical treatment.
Quarterly, we will prep and serve brunch on Saturdays, from 8:30 am -12:30 pm. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Gin Waters at 843-697-0009.
Also, save your pop tabs and bring them to Saint Mark’s (there is a container on the table in the Narthex). To many, a pop tab is just a piece of aluminum, but to the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston, the tab from each can is a valuable resource.
Collected pop tabs are recycled; generating much-needed funds to support the House and the more than 800 families that they serve each year!
